Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup oats


  • 1 onion finely chopped


  • 1 small tomato finely chopeed


  • 1 green chilli finely chopped


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 3-4 curry leaves


  • 1/4 cup coriander leaves


  • 2 tsp oil for cooking


  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Directions

  • First in pan add oats and dry roast dor about 3-4 minutes .turn off the gas .keep this aside .
  • Now in a pan ,add 2tsp oil .now add cumin seeds and curry leaves. Then add onion and green chilli ,saute it for about 2 minutes ,then add peas and tomatoes .cook until they becomes soft . Now add turmeric powder ,red chilli powder and salt .mix well .
  • Then add roasted oats and lemon juice ,mix well .add 1 tbsp water and cover it .cook until oats becomes soft .turn off the gas .oats poha is ready .garnish with corainder leaves .serve hot .
